Ajouter le complément AGA-P (Serenoa repens, Cucurbita pepo, L-cystine) au traitement habituel par minoxidil et/ou finastéride fait mieux que ce traitement seul sur deux critères sur trois, d'après un seul essai de fiabilité limitée chez 225 hommes et femmes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique (Milani 2025). À 26 semaines, 39 patients sur 106 sont nettement améliorés avec le complément contre 29 sur 119 avec le traitement habituel seul, et 46 % se jugent améliorés contre 30 %. Sur la note d'évolution, de -3 (forte perte) à +3 (forte repousse), le complément obtient +2 points contre +1,7, sans différence significative. Ce sont des indices, à confirmer.
