Microneedling électrique + minoxidil 5 %

En bref

Deux essais associent microneedling électrique et minoxidil 5 %, à des rythmes différents. Chez 75 hommes chinois, avec une séance toutes les 3 semaines et le minoxidil deux fois par jour (Bao 2022, fiabilité limitée), l'association fait gagner +56,45 cheveux épais par cm² en 24 semaines, contre +28,01 sous minoxidil seul et +32,09 sous microneedling seul, des écarts très probablement réels ; pour l'épaississement du cheveu, l'écart avec le minoxidil seul peut être dû au hasard (+22,46 contre +18,7 µm). Chez 120 femmes non ménopausées, avec une séance toutes les 2 semaines et le minoxidil une fois par jour (Liang 2022, fiabilité moyenne), le nombre de cheveux passe de 99,68 à 130 par cm² en 24 semaines, mieux que sous minoxidil seul ou associé à la spironolactone orale, des écarts très probablement réels. Les effets indésirables restent proches de ceux du minoxidil seul.
