Bimatoprost topique 0,03 %

Side effects including erythema and pruritus were observed in both treatment groups that were transient and decreased after a few days. There was no significant difference between two treatment groups re- garding side effects (p = 0.26). Transient erythema was observed in 5% and 10% of patients in monotherapy and combination therapy groups, respectively. Pruritus was observed in 75% and 50% of patients in monotherapy and combination therapy groups, respectively.

In area A, 17/30 AA patches treated with topical corti- costeroid cream responded to treatment (56.7%), while in area B, 25/30 AA patches treated with topical bimatoprost 0.03% solution responded to treatment (83.3%). All the responding patches showed a statistically significant re- duction in their SALT score after 3 months of therapy compared to baseline values, with no significant differ- ence between both therapeutic modalities (p = 0.084).
