Ce complément oral (L-cystine, Serenoa repens, graine de courge, Pygeum africanum, 1 gélule par jour) a été comparé à un placebo dans un seul essai de fiabilité moyenne (Piquero-Casals 2025). Chez des adultes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique, il fait gagner +9,7 cheveux par cm² à 13 semaines puis +11,6 à 26 semaines ; chez des femmes souffrant d'effluvium télogène chronique, +10,4 puis +14,3 cheveux par cm². À chaque mesure, le gain est nettement supérieur au placebo (001 à 26 semaines dans les deux groupes). Un seul essai : ces gains restent à confirmer.
