Minoxidil oral 1 mg

In order to ensure accurate measurements, three specific loca- tions on the scalp were identified and marked with tattoos (Jet Black Micropigment, BioTouch Company, USA). These locations were located at distances of 12, 16, and 24 cm from the glabella, and were referred to as the frontal, mid-frontal, and vertex points, respectively. A single drop of ink was placed on the targeted area and an insulin needle was used to tattoo the ink onto the skin.19 Macrophotographs of the tattooed areas were taken by a dermo- scopic device (FotoFinder System Gmbh) connected to a cell phone and a camera (Canon EOS M100 camera). A technician who was experienced in the field of trichology and blinded to the treatment manually counted the number of hairs within a 1 cm2 area surround- ing each tattoo point. The thickness of five randomly selected hairs in close proximity to the tattooed area was measured using 3D Slicer 5.2.2 software and then averaged.
