En bref

Un seul essai de faible risque de biais (Tang 2026) a comparé le minoxidil sublingual 1,35 mg deux fois par jour à un placebo pendant 24 semaines, chez 46 personnes trans de sexe féminin à la naissance, sous testostérone, avec une alopécie androgénétique légère. Les résultats sont mitigés : sur la zone frontale, le nombre de cheveux passe de 204 à 213,5 par cm², contre de 223,1 à 213,1 sous placebo, un écart significatif, mais il n'y a pas de différence significative sur le vertex, ni pour les vrais cheveux hors duvet de la zone frontale. Une pilosité accrue ailleurs sur le corps touche 1 personne sur 23.
