Ajouter de la cétirizine 1 % au minoxidil 5 % ne fait pas pousser davantage de cheveux en 16 semaines : la note d'évolution, de -3 (forte perte) à +3 (forte repousse), atteint +1,06 contre +1 point, et ni elle, ni le progrès vu au dermoscope (0,68 contre 0,65), ni l'épaississement (1,39 contre 1,29) ne diffèrent significativement (0,987 et 0,628, Mokhtari 2026). Les patients sous association sont en revanche plus satisfaits (1,82 contre 1,13 points), et aucun n'a d'irritation du cuir chevelu, contre 2 sur 31 sous minoxidil seul.
