En bref

Dans une seule étude de cohorte de fiabilité limitée, chez des hommes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique sans traitement antérieur, 46,67 % se jugent améliorés avec le finastéride oral 1 mg ajouté au minoxidil topique 5 %, contre 20 % sous minoxidil seul, sans que l'écart soit testé (Chang 2025). La tolérance est proche : au moins un effet indésirable chez 33 % (5 sur 15) contre 27 % (4 sur 15), sans différence significative, et des démangeaisons chez 13 % dans les deux groupes. Résultat à confirmer, chaque groupe ne comptant que 15 hommes.
