PRP préparé par séparateur automatique + minoxidil 5 %

Ajouter du minoxidil 5 % à des injections de PRP préparé par séparateur automatique ne fait pas de différence significative dans le seul essai disponible, de solidité moyenne, chez 30 hommes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique légère à modérée (Wei 2023). En 13 semaines, le nombre de cheveux passe de 56,47 à 69,07 par cm² et 93,3 % des hommes (14 sur 15) sont jugés améliorés par leur médecin, mais l'écart avec le PRP associé à un placebo peut être dû au hasard (26 et). L'épaisseur du cheveu ne diffère pas non plus.

Ce traitement n'a été mesuré que dans une seule étude par critère : il n'existe pas encore assez d'essais pour en tirer une conclusion. Les résultats ci-dessous sont des indices, à lire avec leurs limites.
