Dans un petit essai en double aveugle chez des hommes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique (Legiawati 2023), ajouter du milieu conditionné de cellules souches adipeuses concentré au minoxidil 5 % ne fait pas mieux qu'ajouter un placebo. Au bout de 6 semaines, la part de vrais cheveux passe de 61,33 à 84,65 % avec le milieu concentré, contre 56,61 à 83,47 % avec le placebo, sans différence significative ; la part de duvet baisse autant des deux côtés. Le suivi est court : un résultat à confirmer.
