Ajouter du milieu conditionné de cellules souches adipeuses non concentré au minoxidil 5 % ne change pas significativement le résultat par rapport à un placebo ajouté, dans un petit essai en double aveugle chez des hommes atteints d'alopécie androgénétique (Legiawati 2023). En 6 semaines, la part de vrais cheveux passe de 57,23 à 81,42 % avec le milieu, contre 63,28 à 77,95 % avec le placebo, et la part de duvet de 43,05 à 18,54 % contre 36,71 à 22,04 %. Le suivi est court : un résultat à confirmer.
